After more than 700 designs submitted, and over 1,000 comments received, the search for Pocatello’s new flag is down to 6.
Recently, the City of Pocatello Flag Design Ad-Hoc Committee approved the final six flags that are now being presented to the public for a final round of input. Included with the flags’ designs are a mock-up of what the flag may look like on a flagpole as well as a description of each flag’s symbolism. The public is being asked to rate each design on a scale of one to five stars and answer the questions, why did you assign this rating to the design and what is your connection to Pocatello?
The public can view and comment on the designs at flag.pocatello.us as well as at a display at City Hall.
